Always larger than life, Sami Lavette began performing for crowds at 3 years old. Singing her trademark “Jesus Take the Wheel” for anyone that would listen. Extremely intelligent, beautiful, and talented; she is the Spotlight for those around her. Graduating Victory Christian School with over $500K in Scholarship offers she will be attending Auburn University in Alabama pursuing a degree in International Business and bio-medical sciences. She approaches every project with purpose and focus and has no limit to what she will achieve.
A crowd favorite everywhere she goes, throughout the past four years she has been performing live across the Southeast United States in pageants, restaurants, clubs, festivals, and songwriter shows. During 2020, she was live streamed worldwide weekly gaining popularity in Australia, the UK, and central Europe which has made her a finalist in the 2020 ISSA US Annual awards in 3 categories. Currently a regular on Broadway in Nashville TN, she can turn the crowd around and then turn them wide-open!
Sami is an accomplished songwriter with her influences coming from Taylor Swift, Carly Pearce, and Kelsea Ballerini. She has a family influence in music and writes with guitar and piano. Her deep register and broad range allow for a variety of style within the Pop-Country genre. Music is her way to share her feelings and stories with the world and she has notebooks full of songs and demos waiting to be released and welcomes collaboration. Just 18, she has an open personality that fosters open communication and idea sharing.
Her balance in life is filled with working out, writing, social media, and quiet time with Chaco her cat. Her family has been very supportive, and she is now ready to embrace the world on her own with all God has to offer. “I will outwork you, but I will bring you with me!”
